Questions about Casio TE-2500 o nebay

Post08 Feb 2007, 14:53

Hey,

I've been looking at this Casio TE-2500 on ebay,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... &rd=1&rd=1

It has a pretty high buy-now price. I'd like to hear your opinions about this, because I'm pretty interested in the watch but can't determine whether it's worth it.

wow! thats the 1st time I've ever seen that model, thanks for the link I just bought it :D

not really but I bet your heart just stopped for a second hehe, can't say as I've seen one before so not really sure of the value, personally I wouldn't pay that for any Casio watch, maybe if it was a Seiko... but then I'm no expert on Casio, sorry I can't be more helpful.

I agree that it seems a bit much, but I'm considering buying it as a gift so I wouldn't mind paying up if I was to learn that this is a normal price for this kind of watch. Then on the other hand, if I buy it I will probably live happy believing it was actually worth it because I'm not such a frequent visitor to these forums (if I don't stumble over another one on Ebay a week later for half the price that is) :)

By the way, here's another one:

The prices range tremendously - I've sold one for nearly US$300 and another for about US$75. It has good novelty value but whether you could effectively use it as a language translator in conversation is open to interpretation. I'd think not.

Good amount of features, world time etc, and dot matrix display on the top line.

The one at auction is NOS so if you're willing to spend the amount for the buy it now one just snipe that amount on the auction one and you'll probably get it for less.
