4 batteries is about 8.3 grams total, but Archer doesn't say if that is empty weight or not. Other possibility is someone bashed the main time key and it is actually a gold-filled replacement key(he does mention some murkiness to that key). It's a big key - a picture of the inside(the "norm" for solid gold Pulsar sales) would possibly settle the question. Anyway, it seemed an oddity to me and of course I am being a bit catty since Archer wanted to kick the tires on the piece I was selling, despite mine being in far superior condition, inside and out. Mine is still for sale(not on ebay), but I have gone back and contacted the guy who sold it to me. He claims he DOES have the Bergey slip(I offered $500) and he will go and search his mom's(original purchaser) house for the box, since I offered a substantial premium for it. It really is a flawless piece, so getting that box would definitely pull it to the front of the class. If I never sell it I guess I will have a kick-a piece, but I really ain't the collecting type....says the guy with in a few thousand watches.

While waiting to see if the box materializes, I will be putting up few NOS solid gold Neiman Marcus Pulsars in the ORIGINAL boxes with the Pulsar marked crystal display cube. And one of those odd Date IIs with no logo on the case.
