Yes, Saw it (was one of the watchers...!!) but must admit to it being the one and only one of it's kind i have seen.. I have a few Sinclair items TV's, calculators etc... but sadly my pocket is not that deep...

Leads me to wonder what other items that great man produced that i am not aware of... Time for a wander around the internet, me thinks...

The two big resources for information on all things Sinclair are Rodney Dale's book "The Sinclair Story" or the Planet Sinclair website.

Compared to some Sinclairobilia (say, the really early 1960s radios) the FM watch is quite common and turns up on ebay about every two months in varying states of decay! Most in good condition sell at around the £450 mark (with box & instructions). A really spotless, mint, fully working one would probably fetch more.

I think I have seen that same Sinclair Radio watch offered for sale periodically over the last 8 months, always with the same high buy it now price.

I also noticed the gray Sinclair, I thought the final sale price was quite low, the bottom seems to have well and truly dropped out of the LED watch market at the moment, must be the combined effect of the summer weather and the credit crunch.

Great time to snap up the bargains I suppose.

As you have probably gathered ,i love sinclair blackwatches ,Old Tom, I do use the planet sinclair website as it tells you if there are any blackwatches for sale on e- bay at any given time ( saves searching). I must just be unlucky as every blackwatch i seem to bid on everybody else wants it ! Im no millionaire but i do eventually hope to have a full set of the various colours one day
But at a reasonable price, can anyone help!!!!

Cheers.

The blackwatches look great, not to mention the ultra rare white one. What puts me off bidding is reliability? I hear they have a baaad history of reliability.

Sure I know that anyone collecting vintage LED/LCD's faces the threat of break downs, but are the sinclair's worse than any others?I did read that the circut boards used to crack quite often, is that true. I'd be interested to know if anyone with a blackwatch has had any problems? Cheers
The other day, my computer beat me at chess. It was rubbish at kick boxing though.
