on a different note (or maybe not), i entered into a guiness book of records attempt at the most people dressed as robots dancing last week. unfortunately we didnt beat the record but was great fun. the event was at " the public, museum, west bromwich, england"

I have a fair number of the Kronoform pieces shown on that box....there are people who will pay $125+ USD for one in it's original box. Who would imagine. M:)W:)M

Can't spot it on the images retroleds provided - we need higher resolution! But as it appears to be of better build quality than the FLUD, there are chances the scale is correct ;-)

I'm not seeing what is particularly wrong with the scale. Most USA radios show the AM scale as 88 - 108, but I don't think any actual channels rest on either end of the scale.

Sure? That's the FM frequency range (88-108 Mhz). AM is ~ 510-1600kHz (medium wave)

Oh douh! You're right, that is the FM band. AM is 510-1600. I thought the FUD watch was AM & FM? Then again, the whole thing may be a Photoshopped mockup that looks better than the real thing. :lol:
