on a different note (or maybe not), i entered into a guiness book of records attempt at the most people dressed as robots dancing last week. unfortunately we didnt beat the record but was great fun. the event was at " the public, museum, west bromwich, england"

Can't spot it on the images retroleds provided - we need higher resolution! But as it appears to be of better build quality than the FLUD, there are chances the scale is correct

I'm not seeing what is particularly wrong with the scale. Most USA radios show the AM scale as 88 - 108, but I don't think any actual channels rest on either end of the scale.

Sure? That's the FM frequency range (88-108 Mhz). AM is ~ 510-1600kHz (medium wave)

Oh douh! You're right, that is the FM band. AM is 510-1600. I thought the FUD watch was AM & FM? Then again, the whole thing may be a Photoshopped mockup that looks better than the real thing.
