Apparently the display is slanted because it's a drivers watch

Very interesting explanation - and it's the special edition for a "right-wearing" driver, which makes it even rearer

I asked the seller:
Do you think maybe if you shake it hard enough that the display will rotate to left, since I'm a left hand driver?

 We'll see if he has the gall to answer that one!

Wow, $200+! Stupid bidders. Maybe I should start putting the wrong modules in my watches...And of course make it obvious.

I don't think it was the wrong module, just turned so the time command was at the setting location. Must have been hell for him to photograph....stab the setter, quickly take a shot. And how he even crammed the module in past the time command button? Hmmm, maybe I'll get a repair job out of it.

Whether it was the right module or not, it comes up as 00:00 in all the photos. I just don`t see why it would attract so much attention!

Its not nice to see people being ripped off but what the hell was that bidder thinking about...

A while back I was selling a square case Texas Instruments LED I sat watching with amazement as three bidders just went mental in the last few minutes of the auction it ended up making £85 it just goes to show some people get caught up in the fight to win and the next thing they know its cost them a packet a sensible head when bidding and to know your limit is always the preferred method on Ebay.
