I'm now the proud owner of this black Duranox Delta. It was a pleasure doing business with planetlcd !
Really impressed with it so far. I added a link to the bracelet, and have begun familiarising myself with the scroll wheel

I have a few questions someone may be able to answer:
1. Exactly what is Duranox, and what is black Duranox. Is the black just some sort of coating which might wear ?
2. Why are watches such as the Alpha and the Kappa a little dearer than the Delta ? I can understand the Gamma being cheaper than the Delta, because it looks like a lower end model. In my eyes, the Delta, Alpha and Kappa all look quite similar and at the same "level".

3. Why are the Ventura's on Ebay all far dearer than what can be obtained directly from Ventura ?

Ah, another one joins the fold,welcome to the exclusive Ventura club! I will try and answer some of your questions.
Durinox is a special process whereby the stainless steel is subject to extreme temperature which renders it hardened and more scratch resistant.The black finish is an ion bonded system which should be of very good quality.
All venturas are built to high standards, but the new Gamma is assembled in Germany,which saves some overhead expenses for Ventura (tax laws i believe) which means the savings are passed on to customers. The Gamma is just as well made as the other models.
Ebay listings are quite high ,and are set by the vendor,you pay your money and take your choice here!
I will say the automatic versions are ,imo of an even higher standard.Look out for my reviews on the Alphas and PX comming soon............................
