I checked the shipping charges, I am an American and this is the way we write it::::::INTL. SHIPPING $49.99 PLUS $5 INSURANCE.
Appears you misread the numbers.

The shipping charges to the UK are still stated as costing US $4,999.00 (approx. £3,276.53) USPS Express Mail International. Obviously the seller has misplaced the decimal point.
