I'd say, given the fact that my case wrenches are all over eBay, that any Pulsar auction where the seller says he can't open the watch, should be regarded with skepticism, at best. Used to be, you could legitimately claim to be unable to find the tool to open them, but not any more. I will re-state my opinion that ANY watch not shown to be working (regardless of any seller claim), should never be bid on as other than a non-working item (only exception I make here are cases in spectacular condition, going cheap, and solid gold ones, where there is a certain amount of un-loseable value, regardless of whether it works or not). I've lost count of the number of postings on this Forum, of a member crying about the fact that something they bought turned out to be a paperweight, instead of a watch, or was bought with the "hope" of getting it back into working condition (only to discover that was going to be impossible, short of replacing the innards). If you're going to gamble (calling that what it is), fine, but please, don't regale us with your lamentations when you lose... Nowhere on this planet does the classic advice, "Let the buyer beware", apply more strongly than on eBay (I'd follow that closely with "Don't gamble, if you can't afford to lose"; still, if you're doing it just for fun, I guess it's better than recreational drug use).
