It's already getting too much for the condition (or lack there of) that it's in.

LOL no... because i cant get insurance to send this watch to the USA so am going to have to relist it as a UK only auction!!

I'd rather this thread and the others about it were deleted as SOME of the comments really arent going to help my sale!!

Cheers,

Mark

You know, I didn't want to tell people or show people that there were scratches on the glass of this pieces(3rd pic), but "it is what it is." http://www.dwf.nu/viewtopic.php?t=4057

Go back(mentally) to when you got the watch - what did it cost you, what have you put in it, what would be "nice" to get for it(before you had an inkling of what it's full potential once was)? Life's not fair, things get damaged, not every deal's a winner. And this forum is not the whole world. Many watch collectors don't visit this or any other forum.

I AM SORRY, TIME TRAVEL IS NOT AVAILABLE - this does not compute. Don't answer topic and thread will disappear within a few days.

Is deleting and modifying posts and threads now coming into fashion?

 Just when you thought it was all over (again)!

Mark post the watch Royal Mail 'Airsure' will cover you up to £500, you should just stand the rest or your credibility as a seller is going to be negatively affected. I think it was a good price for the watch and there are no guarantees you will get the same price again especially with a UK only auction limiting your potential market.

The Royal Mail web site does state that insurance of up to £500 can be added on both 'AirSure' and 'First Class International' post.

http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/cont ... tId=400036

"Additional compensation cover up to £500 is available for more valuable packages via our Airsure® or International Signed For™ services."

How I try to handle this... :-)
Optimally, modifying threads is for clarity. Sometimes this requires someone with access(me or moderator to snip out a few words in more than one posting. E.G. Someone gets confused between threads, posts nonesense, someone else points it out, and a third person chirps a comment about 1 & 2. Snip, snip, snip. No offense is intended when I snip your words, I delete the minimum.

Items that were offered for sale or parts wanted, are deleted unless there was a fair amount of interaction on the thread, in which case the social interaction alone might be best left as part of the permanent record. M:)W:)M Super bitchy threads or threads that spun horrifically off topic may be best deleted or at very least locked. :x

I have sent loads to the USA and it is OK to send watches, all you will have to fill out a simple customs declaration form, at £500 the buyer is probably going to 'Kop' a heap of custom charges!

We don't have custom's charges, so the insurance and customs declaration are not an issue.
