Just look at his ID history:
User ID Effective Date End Date
s31grg 23-Jul-10 Present
gizzer31 22-Jan-09 23-Jul-10
gsxrs31 03-May-08 22-Jan-09
beegeesleds81 19-Mar-08 03-May-08
nivaarhusky 18-Mar-07 19-Mar-08

For newer members some stuff to read:
http://www.dwf.nu/viewtopic.php?p=14314#14354
http://www.paypalsucks.com/forums/showthread.php?fid=16tid=25066&tid=26445&old_block=210 (he complains about being banned for shil bidding - hilarious)
http://www.dwf.nu/viewtopic.php?t=3395&highlight=gizzer31

Oh, and somthing else just comes to my mind: we have a member here with the same grammar and CAPS LOCK problems and writing without punctuation - and obviously he rides a "gixxer" or "gizzer" or whatever: http://dwf.nu/search.php?search_author=pigeon2

I just received email from a relative of "pigeon/gizzer/gxr/whater" who is a member here on the forum, who has caused no problems, has no weird auctions, and whom I have had several, reasonable business transactions with. Here is my understanding of the situation:

Father(John) and son(Gary) live in same household. Another brother lives in Scotland - he is the member mentioned above, he is no problem. It would be unfair to "tar" him with the same stick. I'm sure many of us have a relative who is less than desirable to be associated with, for a variety of reasons.

Sort of like two one-armed guys who are missing the same limb arm wrestling. Neither has enough leverage to get anywhere.

Ok, enough beating up on the one-armed guy(s).

This does have a smell, definitely: with false pretence pigeon2 draws the watch community's attention to an auction of "s31grg" who is, as Ed pointed out, his brother (monozygotic twin, maybe: same hobbies, same writing ;-) ).

Yes, pigeon2 has behaved well so far, no reason to "tar" him. And quite probably he just had the same English teacher as his brother

@ pigeon2: I'm sorry, but without further information the facts make it appear that you are just one of the many "personalities" of your infamous brother Gary. But Ed cleared it up (I hope) :-)

Edit: I just saw you were faster at typing than I am ;-)
As you wrote - Ed has cleared it up and you're rehabilitated. But maybe you'd better refrain from pointing us to your brother's auctions in future - or just write openly that you're related to the seller.

I got email from the sane brother - I feel bad for him. Seems to be upstanding guy, his posts are clear, well written and balanced. I suggested he change his email to remove the family name connection.

Meanwhile, our man of multiple personalities has written me.
"hello ed what are they all on about on the site they have got me down as another person here selling a p2 on ebay i dont sell any watches on ebay but my cussin does well he did but its not me"

My answer(hate being a heavy here, but it seems I need to at least THREATEN to pull the trigger).
"I don't want to hear it - all a bunch of bullshit I ONLY put up with for the money("they" have been buying watches, parts and repair services off me). If you write me about it again I will just terminate your membership and you can start from scratch. Ditto on selling to Richie, Carol or whomever.

Don't write back.
Don't comment.
Just don't..

No, this is incorrect, pigeon, and s31grg are the same person, or, alternately, the father and son who live together, which is the same thing. My understanding is the brother who lives with Dad is a near-do-well that rarely finds work or keeps it. A year or two ago he was on this kick where he was buying watches off me and reselling on ebay so he could buy himself a moped.

Need to inject some humor here. Moped joke. " An [insert word of choice] woman is like a moped - may be fun to ride, but you don't want your friends to see you doing it." M:)W:)M

Err, I see, misunderstanding. For the less gifted: the "member mentioned above" is not pigeon2 but the sane brother, and this sane brother is also a member here? I hope I got it right now.
But who's the "cussin"?

One of my favourite Gary Larson cartoons just came to my mind:

I miss Larson's comics..... then again, we get an ocassional DWF member to fill that void. :-P

I started getting lost in that too, but didn't want to admit it.
I do know (referring to the screen shot of the ebay bidding list) that:
gizzer31 and gsxrs31 look very similar. "Gixxer" (in the US) and Gizzer (in the UK?) refer to the Suzuki GSX-R, or RS, if it's suped up. Looking at the bid list it makes me wonder if there may be some shill-bidding going on? Small word for two GSX fanatics to bid on the same watch. Not impossible but it makes me wonder...
