No calming down is necessary markyd3 :-? , you've posted the same ebay link to your ebay auction in two different threads five hours apart.

Regards, Jeff

Thats hardly a major problem is it!!

Nice watch but not rare. I have had many of them over the years, and you see then allot on eBay. I have also had the same version with Diamonds around the crystal.

Well it must be quite rare as theres none on ebay and hasnt been for a while.

I only pulled the auction last time as i had sourced a replacement module... the only reason i will pull it this time is if it doesnt make much money as I would rather keep it.

Quite rare gets my vote ;-)

Ultra rare, very rare, rare, quite rare, a little bit rare whatever it's still a nice bit of bling.

The selling price of LED's seems to be on a high of late so it will hopefully do well for you, good luck.

Actually, it is - has to do with "thread relevancy". One thread per watch being sold - I thought I had already explained this.

It's a realatively rare model, but do remember that without excellent glass and little to no damage to the intricate finish, it's not a collector's piece, just higher-end wearable bling. Like the difference between a scratched but worn Pulsar P2 that is working($250) and a minty one that is fully boxed($550-600). It's the great figured woman with nasty teeth syndrome - you still have to look at her.. I point this out since you are using a link to my site in your auction(technically against ebay policy but I'm not complaining) - that could be a double edged sword on pulling up the price of yours. That is: as your auction goes higher, anyone looking at it has to be weighing that it is still not a collectors piece, and do they want decent, or totally kick ass? There is a dividing line, monetarily - I'm guessing your's will stall around $800 as anyone willing to spend more would probably contact me and see if I would come down. :o

Longines Wittnauer Polara IV LED Watch **VERY RARE**

Post29 Oct 2010, 15:36

Ok fair enough but both sections seemed relevant to my advert

ie..

the watch is "For Sale" plus its an "ebay Link" !!??

If J Thomas had such a problem with it why didnt he PM me rather than spam my thread!!?

As for me posting a link to yours.... I just wanted people to see what a totally mint example could potentially fetch as I dont expect mine to get anywhere near that!! and as you say it wont do you any harm as it just directs people to your watch and then your site aswell :-)

Us old people can get cranky. :x

 Simultaneous threads on the exact same topic or piece cause user confusion, resulting in ineffective communication and misunderstandings.

Guys,

Im not sure if anyone on here is bidding for this but just wanted to let you know that if the price doesent change much over the next 36 hours or so i shall be removing it and either keeping it or listing it as a Buy it Now auction with offers.

I dont want to piss anyone off but it was on over twice this much last time it was listed after a couple of days AND it was non working at the time!!!!

For what the proper module cost me for it its just not worth me selling at the price it is now.

Shame as I was hoping for around £4-500 for it!! maybe i was just expecting too much from it!!

Cheers,

Mark

I like watching the last few seconds of high bid auctions like this they usually don't disappoint as a few bidders go for it.

Darn, I've been outbid! But seriously, I have taken a few pokes at that one, figuring I would turn it into a project piece.....
