You need to write the seller back, and point out that all ebay sellers HAVE to accept Paypal. This is, for both buyers and sellers, an unavoidable part of the cost of ownership.

Just out of curiosity, what is the item number? - so we can see what you are craving. 8-)

Only for international sales - at least ebay Germany is that way.

The auction in question states 2 things:
1. Shipping to United States only (no other countries selectable)
2. No Paypal.
I wonder that ebay let kasper from Belgium bid at all.

Western Union money transfer etc. is usually an indication for fraud. However, this seller does look seriuos.

Personally I would walk away and wait for the next one to come along..... that is unless it was something I just had to have and considered the risk of losing my money worth the gamble, very little chance of claiming any money back if the seller turns out to be less than honest.

Original poster: nobody is offering to help on this as the seller was fairly clear up front. They want an international money order(IMO)...it's my understanding IMO's are sold in post offices, in most countries of the world. Maybe for a handling fee some nice American will take a paypal payment from you and go buy and mail your money order to the lady. This all takes time, and time is $. But that would encourage this situation to repeat.... Not trying to bust your balls, but it is better if you ask someone if they would assist you BEFORE you get in this situation.

All of us have to deal with sellers who don't want to sell outside their country. You may want to walk away. You paid top dollar for a "possibly working" pen, that has no ink refills available. :-?

yes..i was a mistake from me cause -

i just saw the pen not so long before the auction ended and i had no time to read that it was shipping to the states only.
So i went for it and saw afterwards united states only :-)

the seller looks good...20.000 pieces sold..so no problem there.
maybe i can offer her the 15 dollar extra so her bankcharges will be covered... but like bucko said...maybe you pay money for nothing.

damn don't want to miss this one. i already have the qualitron in perfect condition

Ok , ok - many of us have done that.

This one time ONLY
Write her and ask if a check written on a USA bank will be ok - if so, you can paypal me the amount, plus $7 for my trouble and the Paypal fees(I cannot accept "personal funds"), and I will mail her a check. Despite the fact you out-bid ME on that one. I try not to be a sore loser. 8-)

I am not offering to go buy you a MOney ORder - if this can be done through one paypal, and one check mailed by regular mail, fine.
