Uranus Calculator

Post04 Dec 2011, 12:18

Did anyone spot the Uranus calculator on eBay, item number 350511467579?

The module was upside down in the case so it must have been removed and replaced at some stage. I was tempted to have a bid but did not consider it worth the risk as the modules are particularly delicate with many open wire bonds.

The watch was sold privately, did anyone here buy it?

Hi ..
Yes and No . I am interested in acquiring one of these watches. So i got in touch with the lady selling it . I asker precisely if someone had tampered with the watch .She answered saying that "probably" Not . Then the watch was pull out from the sale .I sent her a message asking to what happened to the sale .She replied to me that she does consigment sales and that the real owner decided to take it back . So that's basically her "story"

I don't know more .If all that is true .Maybe the seller decided to sell it on his own and we will see it again .

regards

I inquired if there was a 'buy it now' price for the watch, the seller responded by saying that an offer of $1700 had been made, shortly afterwards the listing ended, so I figure it was probably sold privately.
