Hi Kasper,

Nice watch, looks very similar to my OMEGA MARINE CHRONOMETER 1516 model. I see the price is listed at E300 this seems liike a very good price . The watch I have is the true Omega Marine Chronometer as used by the famous French undersea explorer Jacques Cousteu, it was the only watch that was certified by The University of Bescancon to be used in conjunction with a sextant for navigation the world.

Mine was made in Nov 1976 and shipped to sommebody rich in DUBAI strong suspicion it went to a VERY RICH FAMILY, I have a Certificate of Archieves from Omega in Bienne as well plus all the origional documents. They were issued to all Officers in French Navy as well.

I used to collect LED and had quite a collection but since sold all of them and now have automatics, mechanical with hands. I just could not be bothered with magnets etc trying to set them, they used to drive me around the bend, FREE AT LAST!! :o

Regards,
KARNAK
