I guess you mean the quartz crystal ? A crystal oscillator is a circuit which uses a QC (amongst other components)........sorry to be pedantic, but it can get confusing otherwise.

It looks original to me.......it's still glued down. I do suspect it's legs have been lifted off their pads to test with a new crystal though.

I thought the shape of the quartz crystal on these would be like the ones in 3013 or alike...
