Another problem I have with this auction (besides the Outer Limits price tag) is the suggestion that this watch has lain, unworn and undisturbed, in the box, for some 37 years. Besides the fact that it is NOT shown to be in working condition (though cosmetically excellent), the best count I can make of the links in the bracelet is 12, maybe 13, tops (amazing how some people can take a lot of pictures and still manage NOT to tell you some basic things!). Since the original length was 15 links, I guarantee you, this bracelet was re-sized to fit somebody's wrist!, and therefore, it HAS been worn, however briefly. I'm guessing this watch quit working (for whatever reason) shortly after purchase, and rather than returning it to the factory for repair, it was simply put away, and eventually forgotten about, until now (this would be especially likely if it had originally been a gift...if you have nothing invested in something, you don't worry too much about fixing it if it breaks). I see this fairly often; cosmetically superb, but dead as the proverbial doornail...it's likely that's what we have here (though, even if it should prove to be working, it's still light-years from being a $15K watch).
NOTE: Still no response from the seller.
