Hello to everybody

Post10 Feb 2014, 19:19

Hi guys,

I write my first message to introduce myself to the forum :-D.

My name is Alessio, and I live in Italy.

I'm a newbie collector, in this moment I have only a few basic Casio from the '80s, but I also have two masterpieces: the Casio CA-851 and the Seiko 0624 5009 (of course with bleeding display :bang: :nikolaus:).

I found this forum searching in the web some spare parts for the Seiko 0624.

Thanks for reading my presentation and don't blame me if I've made some mistakes: I don't use any translator :mega:!!

Best regards to everyone,

Alessio

Welcome/benvenuto Alessio.... ;-)
Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

Welcome to DWF, Ale. ;)
Searchin' for spare parts for your 0624 is going to be a tough job, I'd say. Mostly 'cause they aren't easy to find and if you find 'em, they are quite expensive. But I wish you good luck for your search, hoping that you'll be able to revive it someday. I've got a similar task to fulfill with my Optels.

As I said before, welcome aboard!
