Litronix module wanted

Post26 Apr 2012, 21:59

HI everyone. Does anybody have a close up of this module which I believe is a litronix from a 70s Trafalgar LED watch? Some of the fine wire bonds are off the board and I am not sure where they go. Looks like a pretty intricate job so am not sure if it is beyond my very limited skills.

If the module has broken or missing wire bonds it will be easier and more cost effective to just replace the module, it is not such a rare module and if you post up the size of the module and the position of the contacts someone might just have a spare to sell or at least be able to point you in the right direction to one.

Cheers. The module looks to be 29mm diameter with a depth of about 7mm and the pin positions are at 2 oclock and 8 oclock with the set pin at 3 oclock, if that makes any sense. Sorry about the bad picture before. I will have to work on my posting skills too.

This watch had a module just like yours, a Litronix, very fragile, I crack it with the wrong batteries. If mi memory
is good it only had time only, no date. I replace it with a different module that fit the watch with date and seconds.
I hardly use it. Is for sale, with case include. Check pushers position.

Hi Phasar66 and thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the buttons on my watch are in a different position. They are at the 2 o clock and 8 o clock positions with the set button at the 3 o clock position. Thanks again Phasar and hopefully somebody will have one somewhere.
