Wittnauer Polara I S/S Strap segment needed

Post20 May 2011, 21:00

Hello everybody.
Just buyed a WIttnauer Polara; everything ok; NOS condition, but strap is slightly tight for my wrist.
The "closing clip" (sorry maybe it has a specific technical name, but i don't know it) is already at "maximum position", so i think that one or two segment needs to be added to strap to enlarge it enough. (i also imagine the segment needed are those near the clip (more similar one to the other) not the ones close to the watch body, casue they are different in wide.
If someone has two segmet to sell, i'll buy them.
I post an image of the watch (i try to post it)
Feel free to contact me for details.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum. :-D

If you draw a blank with the additional links you could always buy a clasp extender.

Thanks Bucko.

This is a smart solution, but if possible i'll appreciate to add original parts (especially for this one that is really in nice condition, even better than photo i've post).
In facts, two links are removed by one of previous owners (evident also clasp pins are in the much wider position possible, and comparing the two bracelet parst, one has 10 links, and the other only 8 with evident signs by the removal).
I've also contacted the seller to expose as friendly as possible this remark...let's see.

Anyhow, thanks for your(s) support and suggestions.

One day i'll post my small collection (only to have some feedback from the community).
