Seting a times SSQ???

Post11 Jan 2007, 12:16

Hi,
I have an old TIMEX SSQ (thanks embelton) which I can't figure out how to set.
It has 2 buttons , one on the left for light , the one one the right is for command (date and seconds).
There is NO setting button.
I've tried many combinations on these 2 buttons , but can't go into setting mode.
Any idea :?:
Thanks

Hey. You've got to gently twist the buttons around until the flat side is facing you then quickly press the right button 4 times quickly (I think it's 4 times -you may have to experiment a bit...). this should put it into setting mode.

Cheers. DB

Most of those Timex's are in setting mode as soon as you turn the flat out ...kind of tricky turning them back without pushing in. :P

Just rotate the right button 180? ( flat side up )
And you can set the time.
When you rotate the left button, you will reset the watch.

Thanks everybody.
It was easy to set with all this information:
turn the light command button until the flat part faces you , and it's in setting mode.
The other buttons reset the watch, you were right.
it's a bit ugly , isn't it?
