NSC/Novus lcd calculator

Post17 Aug 2007, 23:21

I know that these things don't exactly grow on trees...

http://www.ledwatches.net/photo-pages/nat-semi-calc-watch.htm

But is there any chance that someone would be kind enough post (or pm me) a picture of the contact clip on the negative side down battery hatch? Doesn't matter if it's on a working watch or not I just need to know where it should be connected. Even just a description would be a huge help.

Mine seems to have been replaced by a piece of beer can which not too surprisingly has decided to start floating about in there.

All I'm getting with contact to the caseback alone is "0" and" error" :-(

I no longer need a pic. Both battery covers should be identical. My watch has other issues (although nothing fatal by the look of things).

(If anyone ever has to take one of these apart for whatever reason then make sure that you take lots of photographs/notes along the way - it'll save you a lot of time).

I hope to get it up and running in time for Friday's "wearing gallery" :-)
