So... is my watch "rare"?

Post24 Jan 2009, 12:27

Reference my earlier message about my two "Realtime" watches from the 70's. I've written various vintage watch forums and no one has a clue. Could this mean I have the only two examples on the planet?? Am I rich? Does anyone have ANY idea where I might find "worth" information on these watches?

Could you post some pictures?
They would certainly help people identify them.

Not sure how to post with message but check "User Galleries" and "plumto1". I have pictures of both.

I don't think the photo's have been successfully uploaded, or have failed since upload.
I have checked your initial post and there is no photo showing only a 'URL' at the end of your text.

Even if you had the only 2 examples on the planet you wouldn't be rich because nobody is going to give you money for it - but you could still feel rich ;-)
It's just a plain simple digital watch, no special function, no special design. If it works, the value is a few $. If it were a Casio or Seiko it would have some collector's value, but because it's a totally unknown brand there is probably no collector's value - unless you are lucky and find perhaps a former Realtime employee who is searching exactly your watch for memories/nostalgia ;-)
