Goodmorning friend!
Friday evening i found a store (near my job place
) with these lcd watches....all stored in a box for many years (he told me 25) ...only case and no band....with missing parts (like battery hatch and button). At the moment only three are working again....anyone could help me to recognize the brand of the white dial (inside i found "assembled in Korea by Handok")??I saw the same module in 1977 Armitron...and looks very similar to the early Crystron
The Q&Q (citizen made)is running great, big lcd digits, very crisp with a powerfull light....i use a NOS citizen band (from a Seven model)...seems to be a good match, isn't it?The watch was released in 1977
The Unknow white dial is working 100% (incl. light).I use an old casio band changing the clasp with an unbraded one..The watch is all SS and by the design in my opinion came from 1977 max 1978...ohh i forgot: use 2 battery cell....
In the next days i'll test the other watch...
Only one Seiko at the moment works...but i'm needing a correct band and a battery hatch....(so if anyone could help me....is welcome eh eh eh

Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way
