Ok..not only digital: Citizen Chrono quartz

Post29 Oct 2015, 20:03

It's a real revolution for my wrist...i have a lot of digital watches but never had a real vintage analogue quartz...so i bought this Citizen Motor priced in 1985 190.000 lire,so not a cheap watch at that time. The reason of this high price?A calibre built in all stainless stell and 12 jewels runs this beauty.
Just only the band is not original...as all the resin bands it cracks...so i replace it with a good matching one.
I really love the design and the contrast between the black dial and the white hands...very sofisticated 3531 caliber for its age: Time, chrono 1/50 and alarm.
Very tricky to set up :fool:
If i don't wrong Seiko used a similar calibre in 1983-4 analogue quartz

Hope you like my revolution and let me know your opinions.... :mega:

Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way
