Seiko F162-5010

Post20 Nov 2015, 16:51

Thanks to Patrick that gave me this pure gem: a rare Seiko F162-5010 from July 1977,probably released only for Japanese market.

I fixed only a battery contact issue and replaced the front polarizer filter...unfortunatly the digits are still little faint but overall good for my daily use :-D
The next step will be a full polishing job.... :mega:

Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way
