Seiko RC-1000 operation tips or manual pls?

Post24 Nov 2015, 20:44

Hi all. :)

I was wondering if anyone knew how to fully operate this watch or give a link to the manual please? I have found a couple of reviews with some tips on use. I ideally I would like to check out a manual but can't find one.

I only have the watch (no connecting lead etc). I have a feeling there isn't much that can be done via the watch itself. Two main things I would like to be able to do: 1) switch off the audio beep when pressing buttons and 2) change the display contrast like the Data 2000 etc (if it's possible on this model).

Here are the bits I've found so far. Any owners here with any tips? Thanks!

I had no luck finding a manual.

I did however receive another rc-1000 today which has its box and bits etc. I have scanned the manual for anyone else who might want it. Unfortunately there was nothing in there that I hadn't already figured out. No silencing of the sound kinda sucks. Maybe there is an option via PCs though. Incidentally, I haven't added the PC connection manual as it's huge, and I doubt many people would want to see that.
