Seiko vs Patek Phillipe

Post08 Dec 2015, 23:21

So according to the adverts, you never actually own a Patek, but look after it for the next generation.

Well the same can be said for our Seiko L012. It was always going to be too small for me, but my daughter is growing into it.

Very nice photo of a very nice young lady starting to love collectible watches (as her father) ! :)
But, just to be sure that your beautiful daughter may share Your passion regarding collectible watches someday, I would recommend also to give her a Ladies Ernest Borel Cocktail watch with the original strap, like the one on the URLs below:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxWQB0jzGe4
http://forums.watchuseek.com/f2/wifes-e ... 27947.html
It's cheap enough and small enough to fit on those little hands and its Mystery Dial/Kaleidoscope-like movement really fascinate young ladies (or at least my friends little daughters never get bored to watch its kaleidoscope-like movement :).
Anyway, I have one in mint condition, just in case I will have someday a daughter :)
Regards,

Yessss...that's the spirit and that's the watch I've mentioned above :)
As usual, a very prompt and right answer to the "challenge" from You, Mr. Kasper :nikolaus:

That would be a very nice mechanical for my daughter, but she already has her eye on her mother's one.
