Citizen Crystron, when future was in 76

Post12 Dec 2015, 12:33

Hi all friends...here to show you my latest purchase from ebay...bought as non working on ebay for a very low price :-D !
I just only replace the burned circuit with a new one and....et voilĂ .
As the box said: "Citizen ha il futuro dentro" that meas Citizen has future inside...and it's true.Ultra clean design, amazing flexible metallic and rubber band and a fantastic green display like Seiko 0624. It was 1976,and it was the quartz watches future.
Seems it comes from the outer space and maybe it is... ;-)

I always loved this advert: Citizen's Galaxy of Quartz watches. Crystron

Here with the older brother...same module, different design but always Space Age style :mega:

Awesome Simone. It could be a 90s watch.

I accidentially mis-read "Hail Future" on the first glimpse... :grin1:
