Seiko A547-5040

Post23 Jan 2016, 17:36

Stunning example of this eight button Seiko lcd watch...it's my first :-D
Just changed the reflecting mirror due little black spot on it even if no battery leakage was in...the watch is NOS and comes from January 1981

Enjoy :dwf:

Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

Hi Simone,

can you explain the 4 buttons? Is it a shortcut of the "Mode" button?

Right! the front buttons works as the "Mode" : Alarm, timer, stopw and time ;-)
The classic 4 buttons positions works as light and lock (on the left) and start-stop and lap-reset (on the right)
