Some watches, simply are not made to last

Congrats Simone, nice to find one that is clearly from early 1983, since most of the watch history books presented it as an 1984 watch! :Prost:
One of the first watches with Dot Matrix display and Data storage (Each memo could have up to 112 digits, and there are 7 memo channels).

The first watch with dot matrix 1980 was the Seiko/Pulsar D031 Dot Matrix 1980.

In the same year - 1983 Seiko have launched the first Dot Matrix display ""wrist information system" - Seiko Data 2000, with a storage capacity for up to 2x1000 characters (hence the 2000 name) and (maybe less known by the collectors) with the same internal hardware architecture of the later/1984 Seiko UC 2000.

Every watch should have its own story...consequently, a watch collector has to be a good storyteller :)
