I just want to thank this seller for promoting my auctions!

Click on the enlarged image and it will take you to my web site. HAHA. Gotta love HTML theft. I'm not going to have his auctions yanked yet until I have some fun.

By the way, does this watch look familiar at all?

Jeff:
Darn, clicking the enlarged picture didn't take me to your site(he must have changed it). Are you selling that Lip re-issue now? Does "MW" spell "Lip" in Spanish? :? I'm confused. :P

Hey, think about putting your URL in your signature, then we can come check your site out easier

Haven't seen you on ebay as much lately...hopefully the new wife is keeping you busy. 8)

My HTML is in his auctions. He has a line of code pointing to one of the directories of my ISP. When I click on the photos, it takes me to my auctions. Odd that it's not happening with anyone else. You have to wait a little and then you will get a black screen. When you get the black screen, scroll up. I tried anoter browsers and the same thing happens.

You have to click on another photo and then click to enlarge. It won't work if you just click the first photo.

Here's were it goes to:

Ed: I'm all over Ebay. :)

I'll just leave it, unless Ebay shuts them down. It's good free advertising for my auction. :) Maybe I'll extend it. hehe.

Yeah, went back to his auction, one of the pictures took me to your auction...and funny, it was way down at the bottom of your auction, in an area that was almost all black. Weird.

 He figured you would find this, post a link here, and promote HIS auction.

Link removed. :) Then again, anyone who steels HTML (after finding out from here) and has his lack luster feedback, isn't going to get a ton of sales. And no English text in the auction.

They stole some of my HTML and didn't "retool" it properly. They have no idea what they are doing when it comes to HTML programming, so some code that should have removed, is still in there. They must have ripped off the HTML that belongs to that auction of mine that comes up.

By the way Ed, feel free to move this to the Ebay forum if you wish. I was originally going to talk about the watch, as well, but I decided there's not much to talk about. :) Although others can if they want, of course. But I ain't leaving the link for it. again :)

Jeff:

Go on start a new thread and tell us about that watch....it appears to have a dot display, which is very odd. When you and I both first showed that watch here about 5-6 weeks ago, the pictures we had showed a segment display. :? Did this ebay seller doctor his pictures, have you seen a different version(display) of this watch, did "Lip" possibly get ripped off by the foriegn manufacturers too? An ever increasing variety for the end users, but a real drag for anyone making a new watch style. Looking back on it, if you could have just bought the modules for your watch and then had the cases made by a small company local to you, your watch would have flown under their radar - they wouldn't copy a line of only 1000 pieces. Easier for them to steal something someone else paid to have set up, promoted, etc. :x

Ed, the watch is a direct copy of the original LIP, not the LIP remakes. But I believe the company that is making the LIP remakes ownes the rights to the original LIP's. (Makes sense) I don't think they were even allowed to make them exactly the same. I've been in contact with them and they are looking in to the situation. The display looks like it could be super imposed, it's hard to say. The one photo of the two numbers spaced far a part, looks weird. It does looks reministant of the display used in those colored "dot watches". (The red and yellow displays).

Anyway, I don't think Roger Tallon would be happy about this.

As far as making the case of my watch here, it would have been difficult, cost wise. I don't even know of any companies that would do it. Even most of the largest watch manufactures go to China or Japan. I'm not too concerned about that Majestyk look alike. It can't be sold on Ebay (although it could temporarily pop up) and no dealer in the west will touch it.

One day I am going to put up a web site for people to rate and comment about the factories in China. I get a little pissed when I hear that they are leading the way in the manufacturing sector but now all this copying crap is getting worse. This kind of stuff will be bad for China in the long run.
