considering a junghans mega 1000

While i am considering buying one does anyone have one in scotland(i am worried about sync problems) .If anyone has one perhaps you could give your thoughts on them,i did have a mega 1 that never failed to sync though! They do look nice .

The old Mega 1 is much better than the Mega 1000 regarding reception.
