Post23 Oct 2004, 06:33

hi, i have been searching through internet for approximately 5 hours and im going blind looking for 1481010 collection. apparently i cant even find like the collection on citizen official website and i want to know wat happen to citizen independent 1481010 collection. and if it's possible, where can i purchase these items, i saw some on ebay but not the one i want, and osme japanese website but again, not the one i want. i wonder if there are any online catalogue for that collection or something. please i really want to buy that watch, thank you in advance. the watch i want is kinda similar in term of the led lights, i think it just has 3 or 4 leds and wen u push a button it tells u time with led pattern. here is the link http://www.ledwatches.net/photo-pages/c ... 481010.htm

i might settle for one of those but still not the one i reall yreally want. i think the watch doesnt even have led to show up time, rather they have it in this led movement of 3 or 4 colors im not too sure, then u can read it and tells tyme. same concept with binary watch but not sure wat kind of method they use to count.

There?s two movements for the citizen independent LED.

One that tells you time in digital style (e.g. 12:47), the other one displays it binary type with just some dots, if you dont know the system you cant read it. The binary type is much more rare...

Hi,
The watch you are talking about is the Abacus version of the 1481010 range (module D410), and came in 4 variations: 3 plastic (grey, blue/grey, and beige) and 1 metal (silver).
The abacus system works with green/orange lights counting as 1, and red as 5 (so the picture below says 09:20 (0, 5+4, 2, 0).
There is also a more dot matrix looking version (D420) but this seems to be even more rare (but there were more colour combinations made).
If you can apeak Japanese, the auction sites in Japan occasionally have them, but you have to look for a long time to see them (I've only seen 6-8 for sale in 4 years, compared to 1-2 on E-Bay), so good luck!!
