i just registered on watchuseek & posted a wtd advert, but the Delta is not very common - the more i look at the alpha its starting to grow on me, i will have to wait for the right watch/price i suppose.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ventura-V-Te ... 5008032%26

i think retail for the delta was/is about 1500 US, I can pay that - secondhand, I'm not so sure 1000 maybe, if it looked like the alpha in the link above, 1000, no problem - even more - I'm just starting to research these watches & I live in the most isolated city in the world so its not easy!

thanks to these forums tho, i have some chance to get some good info tho.

cheers

Nice!

I am a Sigma man myself, and I just can't get enough of it :)

Still searching for the right strap, and will eventually have custom leather strap made for it.

yeah, would be a boring world if we all liked the same designs, personally the sigma is my least favourite looking sigma.

on another note, i realised last night that a scammer/crook was trying to rip me off.. $850.

i put a wtd advert up on watchuseek & the next day i had a pm from a member asking for my email address to send pics of a delta he had.
well the next day at work i get an email from 'Norman', with 6 pictures and a few lines of detail about 'his' watch - i then replied asking for some more information/better photos.

In the meantime Holly from about time, tracked me down a Delta at Ventura, so replied to Norman that i was going to get a new one, sorry to waste your time etc etc...

well last night i found the forsale advert from 5 years ago, that this turd Norman lifted the photos & even text from

anyway, all is good & Ventura have my $ now :Prost:

Andy, you will be happy with the Delta, some don't like the scroll wheel but once you get used to it its easy to use and quick to set alarms etc. I bought one from Holly (about time) a few years back and the service was great. Kind of regret selling it but it helped fund my new Kappa I bought direct from Ventura, I'm a titanium freak :grin1: . I think Ventura have now reduced some of the prices hopefully to make way for new designs ?

Let us know what you think of the Delta :-D
