Casio Modern Square G-Shock

Post20 Jul 2014, 15:56

Good days, fellow members of DWF. This is my first post at DWF, I present you some Modern G-Shock over here.

G-Shock was first introduced in year 1983, the model is so called "Origin" by collectors and are highly sought after. Without this model, there will be no g-shock, G-Shock was designed on 3 majors criteria initially: 200M water resist, 10 metres fall sustainable, 10 years battery life. Compare to other LCD watch, this design is resilient, with mild abuse use permitted.

I have posted several watch model which inherited this 1983 design, they are re-issued model.

Nice. I am a big fan of the 5600 series G-Shock, I have had quite a few of them back in the days. Now I only have my DW5600C old school with SS screwdown caseback and that's a keeper. :)

You just need an all original DW5000 to complete your collection :)

Nice DW5600C!

But just to let you know. the bezel you got there is called "brazilian bezel". Its not made by Casio, but from a vendor in Brazil. Since the original ones are now discontinued, the brazilian bezel is the closest thing you can buy, unless you can find a NOS bezel. :)

oh, haha~ sorry to be "that guy" :p

just that when you mentioned "all original", the bezel becomes "the issue". :)
