The state of EPD watches

is there any new tech or new EPD watches? With a strong USD it may be good time to considering getting one.

I still own the "low tech" "vintage" Seiko EPD SBPA007

And this is still more satisfying to wear than my "newer" Pebble Smartwatch (the old one, kickstarter edition, should also be considered vintage old school) LOL

The Epson watches seem expensive as they are not solar powered nor RC.

Are there e-ink watch that are RC but not solar? If not which current producted watches is more desirable?
