Post13 Nov 2008, 22:28

This watch is seriously BIG, as big as the Nixie watch ! It also has some neat features:

Stainless steel black ionized plated case with ana-diga display.
Compass.
Four different time zones, two analog and two digital.
Barometer checks atmospheric pressure at current level and sea level. Altimeter keeps track of your altitude in feet and meters.
Temperature reading in Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Alarm function.
Chronograph function 1/100 second.
Case dimension is 57MM and 10MM high.

Ok, you asked for it ;-)
....
  , and if I were forced to wear it, I'd probably be

The Nixie isn't a beauty either, but huge for a reason and it has originality.

I hope very much I didn't upset you. I thought it was better to post my opinion instead of just "polite silence" - and I hoped someone else would answer in defense ;-)

I hate polite silence, I much prefer a real opinion and I appreciate your honesty, no upset was caused whatsoever, in fact I thought your reply was very funny :!:

I would be happy to continue to hear opinions both for and against :-D

It's only a watch ;-)

UGLY!!!! :~# :~# :~#

If there was a bigger font and a flashing option available I'd use them too.

However, if you like it then to hell with what anyone else thinks - advice my mother gave me at her 60th. Whatever else, you are your own man. Be it!

Seriously, it's hideous beyond belief.

It not just the camera angle then?

This is the watch I am planning to wear on my forth coming skiing holiday, thought it may be fun to use the temp and altimeter functions.

Do you know what the skiing is like in Scotland? I am tempted to have a drive up and give it a try, snow permitting, obviously.

Thanks for the reply.

Crazy looking watch bucko170! Too big and overweight for my tastes.
Not to meniton her face.... uh... yeah, better not mention it.

To get all those features I'd go for a Suunto watch. It's big too, but not that big. And all digital! ;-)

Just my two cents....... more power to you bro.

Do you mean one of these........

Sorry it's just to plain, ordinary and plastic looking for me !!

The Timberland maybe OTT, but the Suunto is just boring Zzzzzz ;* ;* ;* ...... although from a practical point of view probably the better option for ski use ;-)

Skiing in scotland is dying rapidly. There is just no snow that can be relied upon It's all mountain biking now - world class runs no less which suits me just fine :-P and you get to use the old ski lift uphill.

Go to the rockies or france for skiing. My mates off to whistler in January oh I'm so jealous.

Post some pics of it in action. It's a tool watch being used for it's purpose like a Rolex sub on a scuba diver. That's a good thing.

Still ugly whatever the angle. Unlike Jennifer Love Hewitt. (watched Garfield the movie at the weekend).
