the leds on the module all works, just 2 of them a dimmer then the other..what could be the problem?
could it be short circuit somewhere due to the bad soldern job of the chinese?
or?
advanced cmos circuit ??? what is the difference?..

anyone an idea of the age of the watch..it's modern yes but?

That COULD to be the digit driver transistor of the rightmost digit. Maybe it DOES short the 2 PCB traces under the excess solder. These COULD be the 2 segments that don't work...
Try to remove the excess solder with a fingernail or sharp knife. If that doesn't work: resolder.

BTW: that's some horrible soldering, not only on this transistor, but also on the other 2 visible ones...

yeaahh very bad soldering...it's new old stock..make you wondering :-D

only the first and the last digit are weaker then the others..lets have a go
