what's the correct place for batteries in LITRONIX

Hi,
I have 2 litronix module but no indication where the + and - must be, i'd say 2 + up, is that correct?

I put the + up and both modules are working but one loose and gain some time , it runs ok for a while then runs too slow or even too fast for a while./
Could that be a dead crystal?Or something else?
It kept good time all night long, and then loose lot of time in the morning...
