Watch Battery Information

Post14 Jul 2007, 15:45

Hi.

I was reading about Accutrons on-line and came across this page with what seems like a lot of good information on various watch battery types and their construction:

http://members.iinet.com.au/~fotoplot/accbatcc.htm

I have no involvement with this site; I am just passing this info along.

Regards,

Mark A.

Very interesting,

I've been thinking about going over to silver oxide cells for all my watches even my everyday frankie Benrus/Commodore which eats alkaline cells very quickly.

Cheers for that link... :D

If you want a cheap source for good quality silver oxide cells, try
http://www.cousinsuk.com/

They sell watch material.
I always use silver oxide cells in my LEDs.
