Just wondering, I did a posting on recieving a dead HP 01 in horrible case/crystal and dead guts.
Well today I was playing around and discovered the module does not have the overlaying spring keyboard contact sheet or the reset battery spring.
Having said the above there is no need for pictures of the parts, suffice to say, does anyone have guarenteed dead HP 01 for sale.
It turns out after applying a current to the module and completing the circuit on the keyboard with jumpers, lo and behold, to my absolute surprise this module is not dead but functions perfectly in all parts.
Of course without the keyboard overlay and reset battery clip it will not work in a case. I now have a spare for when one of my others die or if I can find a dead spare case and module (say one with battery damage) then I can ressurect another fully functioning watch!
Therefore, to put it simply, does any one have a dead case and module for sale?
