All Time Computer watches, from the very beginning, used quartz crystals oscillating at 32,768 Hz [32KHz]. There were many different crystal package types, tending to get smaller as the watch designs got more advanced and refined. The Dress models typically used the 3x9 mm cylindrical packages [usually gold-colored]. Swapping out a crystal from another module is not a complex or time-consuming repair. The module in the Dress watch is identical in all resprects to the one in the Ladis' models, with the exception of the LED display itself; the digits are about 1mm taller on the Dress version [but the quartz crystals will interchange].
