help with frozen led?

help with frozen led?

hi all
i have just aquired a mid sized panquartz led ladies i beleive?
i checked module and all seems ok its vitually a mint watch.
so i fitted to batteries,
the watch comes on .but thats it .it just stays on the 1st led display.

neither the time , date or setting button has any effect.....?
its as if its frozen.ive tried the famous hot /cold treatment and
ive checked all contacts.
any ideas from any of you more experienced guys out there.?

Looks like the quartz crystal's gone, Maplins electronic store sells replacemants for about £0.50 if I remember its a 32768hz one you need... :-)

umm interesting.in my ignorance i thought that the crystal was fine
as it lite up.well thats updated my knowledge.
