seiko memo diary/Data-2000 transmission problems

Post19 Aug 2008, 13:24

firstly, thank you to everyone that helped me out in my similarly titled post in the vintage lcd section. i have a battery installed now, and it works perfectly.

however, the bad news is that the keyboard does not transmit to the watch. from peoples comments it seems that this can be a common problem, and is something that might not be fixable.

is there anything i can do to try and get it working again? there is a fresh battery in the keyboard. im not sure what other info you guys might need. the watch and keboard are in excelent condition. the inside of the watch module is very clean.

i bought the watch un-tested, so its a bonus that just the watch works! any help with the keyboard though would be much appreciated.

thanks guys! :-D
