The short answer is yes!
However you must be careful when removing the module. There is no real trick here except you MUST not touch the front face of the module when you get it out. Each LED segment on the face of the module has exposed wire bonds and if you touch them they will be whipped away. These wires are so small you cannot see them with the naked eye, I know because I made the ultimate mistake years ago when I removed my first calculator module.
Just remove the silicone and the small screws holding the module in the case, be careful and pry the module out as evenly as possible and do not touch the face side, especially near the top portion where the display is. Also be careful not to push any of the keys while the module is removed or they may get turned around.
