Rayovac RW56 replacements...?

Post04 Feb 2012, 23:26

I got an old Seiko requiring the RW56 RayoVac battery. These were discontinued as they contained Mercury.

The data is the following:

11.6mm X 3.6mm 1.35V LM

Most batterys listed as replacements are 1.55V while the original was 1.35V. Would it be a bad idea to put a 1.55V battery into a Seiko requiring a 1.35V battery?

Anyone have a good suggestion of a replacement?

I think I might be able to find a Zinc-Air battery with the same data. Are these the only replacements?

Takk skal du ha Peter! :-)

Regna med at det gikk greit, men alltid kjekt å få det bekreftet fra noen som har prøvd før.

Seems like a 1.55V substitute will be just fine.
