Now the questions ...

LCD : I believe is beyond repair, am I right ?
Looks like the two glasses the should contain the cristals are separated
and the liquid cristals are gone.

does anyone know where I can possibly find a spare lcd for this model ?

Any possible donor, taken from a different module using the same lcd ??

the module : there is life, but because of the lcd broken,
I have not idea of how much life is still there.
Corrosion is not too bad, will be easily cleaned, and the contacts
toward the lcd look nice.

does anyone know where I can find some documentation on this module ?

the case : I have the two pushers and the middle stem. The middle stem is identical
to those used in the 0634 module, the pushers are indeed different. I had never seen
springs like those, if not in a mechanical watch.

is it normal that no retention system was in place ??

As always, thank you very much for any possible help,
take care, and enjoy the weekend
Alberto

the lcd is not broken in 2 or cracked, i presume, so you need only the new polarization filters and a lot of cleaning.
If the fluid between the 2 glassplates is spilled over the whole lcd..so there was leakage...then you're out of luck in
restoration.
And you need a bit of luck here.

ciao Kasper,
the two glass plates are phisically separeted,
is this a problem ? I presume so, but not sure 100%.

One piece looks like plain glass, the other has all the lettering for
the days of the week and the part number. I can see thruu the digits shapes,
but I don't think I can just glue together the two pieces and I'm done, right ?

Looks like the same lcd is used in model 0674.

This model (0654) uses 4501-670
model 0674 uses 4501-690
but looking at the watches these two lcd panels are identical.

thanks for help, Alberto
