Seiko part numbers

Dear All,

may be it has already been answered, and may be I'm posting in the wrong session,
please move this in the appropriate session if this is the case.

I need some help in understanding how to revert a Seiko part number like this : 4001-887
to the appropriate model

Viceversa, where can I find part numbers for parts that are not listed on the Seiko manuals
usually posted on the http://www.digitalwatchlibrary.com/DWL/manual_search/
like bracelets, glasses or other parts ?
