Bulova Driver start question

Post08 Nov 2012, 18:22

I know to do a search but I wasn't real sure what to search for here. I found a Bulova Driver's watch in a pile of old watches. I bought it and put batteries in it. It beeped and I get a solid A lit up but nothing else. It's a two button model if it makes any difference.

Any insight here? Thanks

edit: I suppose this should have went into the electrical section.

It sounds like an oscillator fault, you could try warming it up as a first step. You say it beeped? I've never seen a Bulova drivers watch with an alarm function :-?

I will try that. Yeah I have other Driver watches and maybe I was hearing things but I swear when the battery first went in, it made a small beep. (twice) When I removed the batteries to double check things, it beeped again.
