Do you have a good strong magnet?
If you do, Take your good magnet and slide it in one direction only along the length of the magnet to be re-magnetised in a line with the intended poles. Repeat till re-magnetised ;-)

Just got back and it took him about a minute per magnet. Finding and aligning the poles and then zapping it in his electro magnet. It was worth it. Out of 6 dead magnets all but one popped immediately, and the other took 3 tries.

I had tried the method with a good strong magnet (I have a rare earth magnet laying about), but try and try it just wouldn't work. This did it first time out with no problems.

If you are interested PM me for his address and phone.
